The international technical standard EN 13374 : 2013 identifies three classes of protection, depending on the inclination of the working surface.
Class “A”: inclination up to 10° (≈17,63 %);
Class “B”: inclination up to 30° (≈57,73%) or up to 60° (≈ 173,2 %) if the falling height is less than 2 meters;
Class “C”: inclination up to 45° (=100%) or up to 60° (≈ 173,2% ) if the falling height is less than 5 meters.
